After enduring a prolonged and unjust trial lasting 9 years, he spent five years in an adult prison, subjected to conditions unfit for a child. His ordeal was compounded by two years of solitary confinement, an experience that has gravely impacted his mental and physical health, leading to the loss of his sight.
